Our Trained Professional staff
Laurie McKillip, MD
Dr. McKillip graduated Cum Laude from Rice University in 1980. She then obtained her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center -Houston in 1984 where she was accepted to Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her internship and residency in 1987 at The University of Texas Health Science Center - Houston with training at Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital and MD Anderson Tumor Institute. Dr. McKillip has been practicing pediatrics in the Woodlands since 1987, where she lives with her husband and 3 year old daughter.
Shelly Nalbone is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who has worked with children for more than 17yrs. She graduated from Houston Baptist University in 1993 with her Bachelors Degree in Nursing and completed her Masters Degree at Texas Woman's University in 1999. Shelly completed a Post Masters Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. She has spoken nationally on pediatric and adolescent health care topics and was a contributing author for a pediatric nursing textbook. Shelly is Associate Clinical Faculty for The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and LoneStar College Nursing programs. She lives in the Champions area with her husband and 2 children.

Our medical staff has extensive medical and “mom” experience. Our goal is to make your child’s medical experience as positive and comfortable as possible. We get to know not only the patient, but the entire family and we will treat you like family. We look forward to watching your child grow up healthy in body, mind and spirit.
